Dance Classes
Style, poise, posture, rhythm, movement, and discipline are taught in these beginner and advanced dance classes
Young dancers are introduced to the art of movement developing self-confidence, rhythm, coordination, and musicality. YMCA dance programming teaches young dancers the fundamentals of their chosen style all while encouraging socialization and fun. Parents will have the opportunity to see a culmination of skills learned at our bi-annual showcase!
Advanced Ballet Ages 6-12
You must have have completed the Beginner and Intermediate classes and have instructor approval to register for this class.
Failure in doing so could result in a loss of your registrtion.

Ballroom Dance Clinic
This 8 week class offers one hour of dance lessons followed by one hour of practice.
Class leads up to our Valentines Dance where youcan show off your dance moves.

Hip Hop Ages 5-9
Jump, Twist & Twirl into Fun!
Youth Hip-Hop incorporates the styles of jazz and hip-hop. Students will learn the proper technique and skills to accurately execute choreographed dances. This will be a monthly class for 45 minutes one day a week. Parent progress communications the last 15 minutes of the last class of every month. Advanced class options will become available as needed with student progression.

Intro to Ballet Ages 3-4
Students will have weekly introductory ballet training. Students will practice body control, 5 basic ballet positions, following directions, spins, floor work, and much more fun! Ballet Slippers preferred, the last class will conculde with a short presenation for the parents.
