Family Specialty Activities
The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis offers a number of special events for family fun in Indianapolis including kid’s night out, family movie nights, and holiday parties throughout the year. There’s always something fun coming up, so check in with your local YMCA to see what’s around the corner.
Doggie Dip
Calling all pawsome pals! We’re unleashing the fun at the Hendricks Regional Health YMCA Pools and Splash Pad for Doggie Dip. Bring your furry friend to join in on the fun!
Space is limited.
- Please register in advance.
- Can register day of if spots are available.
- Owners will need to bring current proof of vaccines and sign the waiver.
- This event is leash-free upon entry, but collars must remain on.
- Owners must clean up after their pets and remain with them at all times.

Fall Festival
Come join us for our annual Fall Fest at Hendricks Regional Health YMCA! All families and community members are welcome. Come dressed in costumes for a spooktacular evening filled with a trunk or treat, haunted hay ride, campfires, facepainting, crafts, and more!
All participants must register but this is open to the community! We can’t wait to see you!
Family Game Night
Family game night: A whirlwind of laughter, excitement, and friendly competition! Whether you’re solving puzzles, making big moves, or pulling off clever tricks, each round brings a new twist. It’s the perfect time to bond, share some laughs, and crown the ultimate game night champion in your family! Join us every second Thursday of the month for the fun!

Family Splash Bash
Bring your family out for a wet and wild party! We will have games, crafts, and treats for the whole family so come out to join us. Don’t forget your extra clothes! All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is not a drop off event!

Kids Night Out
Parents, enjoy an evening out while we entertain and care for your kids ages 1 -12 years! Evenings will be focused on our monthly theme this months theme is Summer Beach Party and will include crafts, games, physical activities, and lots of fun! We will also take children ages 5 and older swimming; if they wish to swim please bring them dressed in their suit. A pizza dinner and a snack will be served.
For games we will have beach party type games. Volleyball, limbo and of course coloring and a craft.
