Cookies with Canvas is a fun and creative event where we can indulge in delicious cookies while unleashing their artistic talents. Participants will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying sweet treats as they create their own canvas masterpieces. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, this event offers a unique opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience with friends, family, or fellow art lovers. These are youth-centered cooking classes, offered monthly, that teach kids how to make different foods from scratch. All supplies are provided.

Come join us for our annual Fall Fest at Hendricks Regional Health YMCA! All families and community members are welcome. Come dressed in costumes for a spooktacular evening filled with a trunk or treat, haunted hay ride, campfires, facepainting, crafts, and more!

All participants must register but this is open to the community! We can’t wait to see you!

Come out for a night of fun with our Family Campout! From playing games, eating good food, roasting marshmallows and sleeping under the stars – we will have it all!

Schedule:
Saturday
4pm – Check-in Opens & Campsite Set up (Best decorated tent will receive a prize!)
5pm – Activity time: Kickball, lawn games, crafts
5:30pm – Food is served
6:30pm – Family Games
8pm – Campfire & S’mores
9pm – Outdoor Movie Starts
11pm – Everyone in their tents for the night

8am-8:30am – Tent breakdown/Clean up

Event Guidelines:
– A parent or guardian over the age of 18 must stay on site with their family all night
– Families are encouraged to stay all night – however, if a family chooses to leave the campsite early for any reason, please notify YMCA staff before departing
– No individual ground fires/campfires are allowed. We will have a larger campfire provided by the YMCA
– No consumption on alcohol or use of tobacco products allowed

Chef University is going to be coming to the Y to teach in our teaching kitchen. Chef University is a unique experience for youth. Cooking is a great tool to help youth learn life skills. Each week youth prepare a recipe designed to help them learn a new cooking technique, science skills, and a nutrition lesson. 4 sessions total.

Breakfast with Santa

Get into the holiday spirit with a magical morning the whole family will remember! Join us for Breakfast with Santa, where families will enjoy a cozy pancake breakfast, snap a photo with Santa, and spend some special time with Mrs. Claus as she shares a favorite holiday story.

After breakfast, kids can get crafty at our Christmas craft station, making a keepsake to take home and treasure.

Spaces are limited and families must register for a specific time slot to help us keep the experience magical and relaxed for all.
