Back to School Festival

Located at Pike High School

5401 W 71st, Indianapolis, IN 46268

Volunteer Options:

• Set up:  Set up and early event help where needed. Kitchen set up, set up vendor tables, put up signs, set back pack area, set up registration area etc.
• Parking:  Help with parking volunteers, vendors and community members and give direction. Spanish and Haitian Creole speakers needed
• Event Help:  Running a game station, food serving, supervising a bounce house, passing out backpacks. Spanish and Haitian Creole speakers needed
• Hospitality Tent:  Event runner: Helping those with a physical disability move through the event, answer questions, give directions, lost child area, quick 1st aid
• Registration:  Help check in families and give direction. Spanish and Haitian Creole speakers needed
• Clean up:  Breaking down tables, stacking chairs, picking up trash, loading up supplies

All-City Track Field Meet

  • Field Events (5p-7:30p)
    • Recorder:  Records distance
    • Field Clerk: , Marks and Measures attempts
  • Hospitality (5p-7:30p)
    • Gate:  Great teams and spectators & Share information
    • 1st Aid Tent:  Minor 1st aid support, Hydration station & Lost child support
  • Staging  (6p-8:30)
    • Organizer:  Order of runners before the event, Take attendance, help with scratches, Keep the track meeting running timely
  •  Relay Judge (6p-8:30)
    • Take teams to exchange area
    • Monitor baton exchanges: Ensure the baton is passed between teammates within the designated exchange zone.
  • Gate Attendant (5p-7:30p)
• Saturday:
  • Hospitality (Shifts: 8:30-11:30 & 11:30-2:30 & 2:30-5:30)
    • Gate:  Great teams and spectators & Share information
    • 1st Aid Tent:  Minor 1st aid support, Hydration station & Lost child support
